Hi folks. I'm not new to Linux, but I use it infrequently enough that
I'm far from being an expert.

I would like to know how to set up a Linux box to function as a router
for my cable internet access. Can anyone tell me where to find the
right HOWTO? The Linux box in question is a Sun SPARCstation IPX
    running RedHat (7? 8?). It's important to note that I haven't booted
this computer up ever - I was given a bunch of them by a friend who
used them as part of a server farm, and they came with no keyboards,
no mice, and no displays, so I'll have to telnet or rlogin to access
them. Also, when it's running as a router, it will need to get its IP
from DHCP, and act as a DHCP server on the other end, and I don't
remember how to do that (if I ever even knew). (I know, I know, RTFM,
but I need to know which FM to R first.) Finally, I don't have any
other Linux/Unix boxen running right now, so I can't just browse the
how-to's on my hard drive because they just ain't there (although if I
can get to them easily from an install CD, I have several distros
    here).

Also, another related question is, is it possible for a router to
function as such with just a single NIC, or MUST there be 2? (Please
    don't laugh - I'm serious.)

    Thank you in advance.
