I just installed Lindows OS 4.0 on a Compaq Presario 1227 laptop computer.
The OS loaded perfectly (near, at least) and detected all of the hardware
including my wireless LAN card. I configured all the IP and DNS information
and it's happily downloading off the internet, but the mouse behavior is
troublesome. It would appear that the physical mouse arrow on the screen is
about an inch off to the right on what you would want to click on. For
instance, if I wanted to open a window for "My Computer", the mouse pointer
would have to be an inch to the right on the "My Computer" icon in order for
it to open. Likewise, the mouse pointer stops an inch to the right of the
leftmost part of the desktop (Like an invisible barrier). It's almost as if
the entire desktop is misaligned from what the mouse pointer *thinks* should
be there. Any suggestions?
