NVIDIA has it own proprietary drivers. Go to their page (www.nvidia.com)
follow the download link, drivers for unix/linux and follow the
instructions there. You need to download a README file (read it!)
and the driver proper, which is a script which self-installs.
They've automatized the install process and it's pretty
straightforward. The script takes care of everything, even
compiles a driver for your specific architecture, if it can't
find a pre-compiled one. You do have to modify /etc/X11/XF86Config
(the X server configuration file) as per their instructions in
the README file.
