J<> Check a dictionary and see what "for instance" means...
J<> Are you trying to say that in your life you have never run across a
J<> direcory on the internet with 100-200 files and you would like to know
J<> how big that directory is without adding up all the individual files?
J<> Is it so mysterious?
Yes, it is, since you didn't mention that. You said a directory. Not
where! One guy gives you the "du" command, which is a good answer...
and then you come back with a scathing remark, basically shooting
yourself in the foot. Then another guy gives you another example... you
shoot him down again, with derogitory remarks... putting your foot
in your mouth again. Then I just ask you to clarify your question...
and you give me an attitude over it... So, you have done nothing but
alienate yourself with smartass replys. At no time did I get derogitory
with you. I simply asked you to clarify your question and answer some
basic questions required to answer your question. So, here I am, being
nice and I get jumped on... Made to sound stupid? According to you, you
are just asking a simple, basic question... so, who's the stuipd one
here?
I dub thee troll. I suggest you find another forum to ask your question
and also suggest you modify your attitude, or your not going to get an
answer from anyone. I am now adding you to my twitlist filter, so, no
need to reply.
