Hi Guys,
Using my boss's computer right now and desperately need help. He is running
Mandrake Linux 7.0 on a Dell Lattitude CPx laptop. Everything works
exceptionally well except when the system freezes. You get the usual
rebuilding of disks etc ... but when Kde tries to start the display goes
bananas and you either get a flashing screen that doesn't allow you to do
anything or a stream of numbers where the display should be. The only way I
can resolve the problem is by wiping the disks and re-installing from
scratch. My boss is tired of losing all his data files each tme.
Would sincerely appreciate any ideas, wild guesses etc ....
Thanks,
Susu
