I just finished installing RH Linux on a 166 pentium w 48meg of ram using a
boxed cd set. The installation went very smooth. The system boots up to a
graphical interface, don't really know "which one". When I try to open an
application, such as openofficecalc, the system starts to load the app, gets
95% done, and closes again. Almost like it loads it into "memory" then
waits. Tried to load one of the included games, same result. And the system
is SLOW, over 5 min to "load" OOCalc. So far the included documentations
hasn't gotten me anywhere except create a user and load a printer. Can't
find where to config modem either. Thanks in advance for any help.
