Hi all.
I am considering writing my own compiler for a language I know very well. I
may even release the result under GNU if the result looks promising. There
is just one question I need to have sorted out before I start on the
project. Is there any possibility that the language is patented or
otherwise protected. To iterate, can I write a compiler for any language I
like, without getting into legal trouble ?.
Thanks in advance.
