Conspiracy theory: MS leaked the Win2k code *on* *purpose*

Allright, maybe this has been suggested in the past, but as I wait for the
furnace repair man this morning I thought to myself, "Self, maybe
Microsoft leaked their code /on purpose/!"

Why? Well, mostly for future FUD. Tempting the legions of rogue
programmers out there to copy code and stick it in Linux, *BSD, etc. then
later, say, "See, we told you OSS programmers are immoral!" or something
to that effect, then pursuing a line of action akin to SCO and shutting
down the OSS movement (and killing Linux) once and for all.

Oh, well, just speculating. And yes, I guess you could call this post a
troll, but please don't plonk me as I'm really not a troll generally.
Thanks. Plus, if this *really* were a troll, I would've crossposted to
alt.christina.aguilerra.nude and rec.woodworking and
comp.os.ms-indows.advocacy instead of just two linux groups. So there.
Hmm. I;m rambling, now, so I'll stop.

Later, all...
