According to: http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ftp/SUPPORTED.CARDS and
from the /etc/pcmcia/config file on my laptop (RH9) the Netgear FA411 is
supported, use the pcnet_cs driver.

/etc/pcmcia/config excerpt;

card "NetGear FA411 Fast Ethernet"
  version "NETGEAR", "FA411"
  bind "pcnet_cs"
