/etc/hosts/

I'm trying to setup aliases to my localhost for use as virtual servers
under Apache. I'm used to doing this in FreeBSD (and similarly in
Windows) by adding the appropriate entries to /etc/hosts. This also
works under Linux, but the damn file is reset on boot...

Any ideas?
