companies a total of 22 billion euros in downtime each year. They The

I'm just thinking out loud so don't flame me.
If a auto manufacture sold a product with a known defect, like evey time
you drove over the center line a door would fall off. There would be
such a stink raise and so many lawsuits that the company would be driven
out of business.
Why is it not possable to file a class suit against a software company
that floods the market with a product that has known security holes,
which cost the users large sums of money each time they are breached.
It wonders me why some hot shot lawyer in the states hasn't started one,
there are class suits there against everything else?
