Good luck! i've been running Mandrake Linux for the past year, and have
found that the easiest way to have a program run properly is to get it
directly off the distro CD. Otherwise, you tend to run into many of the
same headaches you're getting right now. For instance, I've been trying
to install Flashplayer 6 on my system, but it has a dependancy for
libstdc++2.10. I try to rpm -i that package, and it tells me that there
is a conflict with version 6 of libstdc. I've tried several workarounds
to no avail. So, as I said... Good luck! Your best bet is to get each
packages dependancies filled, then see if you can get the source to compile.
