i have an orinoco (made by proxim) silver combocard 802.11a/b/g w/ the
atheros 5212 chipset and a 2.6.4 kernel in slackware 9.1, and i can't seem
to get the card recognized as a wireless card (using the madwifi driver
from cvs, because it's the only one available). the device is recognized,
and iwconfig even lists it, but it says "no wireless extensions". i do
have wireless extensions in the kernel. what should i do?
