Position Responsibilities:
Architect-level software engineer candidate for
architecture, design, hands-on implementation
and test with a track record of success working
with complex operation system problems. Both low-
level kernel expertise as well as higher level
system software required. Commercial system-
level product experience with embedded Linux
highly desired. Candidate with team-player and
senior-level leadership skills to "make-it-
happen" desired.
Requirements:
Areas of expertise include: Linux/Unix/Embedded
operating systems, Linux kernel, device drivers,
networking, high-availability, strong software
architecture (abstraction layers), IPC,
distributed computing, knowledge of hardware
architecture issues (processors/buses) for
networking products, Expert in C programming
language.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Desirable to have distributed software RAID and hitless software
upgrade experience. Some assembler (PPC/X86). BA/BS in computer
science.
