Uninstalling Debian

I've got two harddrives, one has XP installed, the other debian. I'm
booting using lilo from the debian disk. Can I just format the debian disk,
boot off the XP disk, and use the repair feature on the XP CD to get rid of
all traces of debian and boot normally?

Thanks
