Uninstalling Debian

I've got two harddrives, one has XP installed, the other debian. I'm
booting using lilo from the debian disk. Can I just format the debian disk,
boot off the XP disk, and use the repair feature on the XP CD to get rid of
all traces of debian and boot normally?
