picked up a copy of this package from frys because i wanted to try it
out, install instructions say there will be a boot options screen and
all i', getting is the "live" boot option, but then it loads a nice
looking desktop, and when i try to fire up the "YaST" install program
it doesn't appear to be able to find the cdrom and appears to cause
the cdrom to lock up. do i need to "mount" the drives like MAC OSes?
anyone got any suggestions?
sysinfo: AMD 2000+ processor
512meg RAM
2 * 45 gig HD
CDRW (where the boot CD is) secondary master
52x CDROM
primary master was partitioned for windows (FAT32), and i re-formatted
the drive, so C: is currently empty D: still has FAT32 partition, and
data on drive, but nothing i would be drastically upset if i lost.
TIA
