I use ASPLinux 9.0 (based on RH9.0), kernel 2.4.22

I have a UseFlashDrive (Transcend JetFlash 256Mb, usb2)
I plugin it to usb port and call:

$mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/flash
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device

#fdisk /dev/sda
Unable to open /dev/sda

I try it for sda, sdb, sdc, sdd and have some result
What I do wrong?

$cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: JetFlash Model: TS256MJF2B Rev: 2.00
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
