Subject indicates that the vacation program ment to return a vacation
message when I am out of office works fine.
But it only works as long as the message must be sent to the man in the
office next dor (on the same server).
When remote mail is returned the .vacation.db is updated, but the mail that
should be returned ends up in dead.letter and gets nowhere.
WHen looking at the mail-headers, the receipient is ok, but as the sender
both my logonname (without a domain-specification) as well as with appears:
user@localdomain
This may be wrong. I gues that sendmail manages the dispatch of the mail,
but will vacation get its domain information from sendmail-files? Should
'localhost.localdomain' be substituted with my mail-domain (domain.dk)?
Regards
Per
