"/usr/doc/" etc. stuff looks like a disk directory with a HOWTO in it.
Catch-22: you obviously need whatever installed on disk to find it. :)
This apparently is on the Slackware distro, after installing it. Slackware
is generally considered more flexible and less "wizardy" but also asks you
to do your homework. This tends to make it perhaps more useful for off the
beaten path apps, like the custom minimal resource install you need.
(I guess this disk version is just a copy of the same HOWTO on the web?)
Don't need a "wizard" yelling at you about "NOT ENOUGH RAM!!" right? :)
But I haven't used Slackware in years, so I can't say it's right for this.
