In alt.comp.linux, SjT uttered the immortal words:

You can if a security hole remains unfixed. You could easily break into
Windows via a CSS app if there's an unfixed security hole too. IME OSS
security holes are usually fixed within days and CSS security holes can
take months or longer. Of course YMMV.

Or are you just assuming that because software in OSS then it must be
insecure?

Explain to me exactly how software is more secure by virtue of it being CSS
as opposed to OSS? You seem so sure of this "fact" so you should have no
problem coming up with arguments that can't be disputed.

You have a Windows 2000 server that has been up, ie not rebooted, for a few
years? If that's true it must be very insecure because applying some
security patches would require a reboot.

You think you're getting aggro? You're posting total crap as if you were
posting facts. eg from another post:

There's no need to ever compile a kernel if you don't want to but you seem
to think that everyone must do so and post that viewpoint as if it was a
fact.

You don't seem to respect other people's opinions either. Linux doesn't do
what you want. No one's going to give you aggro for that. Your attitude
seems to be "Linux doesn't work for me therefore it won't work for anyone
else so it's crap". At least that's the impression I get from your posts.

Erm, didn't you say:
