I'm looking for some advice as to what is a good distro to rum on an
AMD64 with 1 GB ram, SATA HD, USB card reader, DVD/CDR burner,
CDROM/CDR, wireless keyboard/mouse, Reaktec ehternet NIC. Mobois a MSI
Neo FSR2.

I also have some USB Thumb Drives all Sony, & a Maxtor USB HD.
I need the USB cardreader, thumb drives & HD to either auotmaticly mount
when plugged in, this would be the prefered way or be able to mount them
from icons on the desktop.

Burn CD/DVDs with either data or music

Play audio CDs

Rip audio CDs into MP3s

Plus the normal stuff like email and web surfing.

I also have a HP PSC-750 Printer/Scanner/Copier, which I have figured
out how to get working in most distros but some better than others.

I would prefer a true 64 bit distro but am not opposed to a 32 bit if it
works.

Anyone have any experience with AMD64 distros good or bad?

Thanks
Allen
