I've been trying to build gentoo linux kernel 2.4.26-r6
for a little while now(slow tp) and I've followed the manual
to the letter. So when it says to list the boot file to confirm
that kernel and initrd are there thats what I do. But there is no sign of
initrd in the boot folder or anywhere on the tp. Do I have to rebuild
everything or can I fix it still. Prevous attempts at gentoo and there
have been a few, have resulted in a grub hd error at boot. Would this have
something to do with it.
All help appreciated thanks
