Hello,
I run 2 linux-mailservers. Both are receiving forwarded mail from an
Exchange server. The servers do their sorting of mail, without interference
in procmail regarding distribution. I believe that it is sendmail (or
fetchmail), that makes shure that bill@domain.org gets mail for Bill and
paul@domain.org receives mail for Paul.
However : when Bill and Paul get their forwarded mail from another
mail-server (e.g. bill@anotherdomain.org) these mails are not delivered to
neither Bill or Paul. They end up in postmaster (presumeably forwarded their
by root).
I would like to have a minor script in my procmail-filter that ensures these
to be delivered as well. Or even better - I may need or want the mails from
'anotherdomain.org' to slip in as if they were from 'domain.org' without
changes to procmail - that way I could run several domains on the same
mailserver. If you have any suggestions, I would be very happy.
Regards
Per
