http://nxtwave.tripod.com/gaiatech/pulser/index.htm is a webpage of mine.
There is a counter from bravenet at the bottom. Just put it in on the 14th.
It has lots of statistics if you click on it. However, I do not believe it
registers linux or browsers correctly. I went to the site with my opera
browser and it came up as win 98 and IE even though I use linux.
Can you check it with you browser and your linux.
You see, if the counters are counting linux incorrectly, it is really bad
for perception. The public will not accept linux because nobody else is
using it.
There is also a nedstat counter that shows the countrys of visitors.
So, please try that little experiment and see if your browser and os is
correctly tabulated.
And< if it isnt, as fine upstanding linux advocates, we should complain and
have the counter company fix their counters!
Report back to this tread with your results.
The simple act of counting linux users as ms users enforces the ms monopoly.
