My problem is that I am not a sysadmin and that my ISP has blocked smtp
port.

I would like to relay emails through my own server which is connected to
cable internet. I could make sendmail, exim or postfix to relay it
through the ISP's server without a problem.

Does anybody know how to configure either sendmail or postfix to relay
emails directly to the destination mx server using an alternet port? I
use Debian.

Thanks

sanjay
