    Hi,

I just wanted to post the solution to my problem, in case anyone else
is searching around for a similiar issue. I ended up re-installing
Fedora and the sound card worked. I think that what made it not work
the first time was messing around with the repo files... I might have
mixed repositories by accident because I am new to Linux and don't know
    what I am doing yet.
