Hi everyone,
This is my first post to this ng and I am pretty new to
Linux.
I was wondering if you could help me out with two things....
I need a dvd duplicator, only about dvdrw 5 units just for clients that want
small runs done. Is there a Linux program to do this sort of thing? and what
would be the best OS distribution for it?
I also want to build a Beowolf cluster for rendering 3D.......but as far as
I can tell (yes the gills are green) if I need to render a 3dmax or similar
file, I will need the 3dmax program running on the cluster and then render
it. Problem is I dont think 3dsmax runs on linux right? Or can I render any
3d file using a specific linux program? All I know is I have been stuck with
MS crap for years so if I can have a linux (beowolf) cluster then at least
it will finish the job without breaking down half way through.
Would really appreciate any help.
Cheers
Richie
