    Any distribution where you have the option to NOT install KDE (or Gnome).
    I use FC3 with IceWM on an AMD K6-350 and 128MB myself, and that works
    reasonable with Firefox, XMMS and OpenOffice (once it's started).

    Remove any services you don't need.
