Well it is not a problem except when I try to install and play the unreal
tournament game demo, and then the program crashes because it wants to see
the proprietary nvidia drivers; i have installed those drivers several
times just fine in Mandrake 9.2 (2.4 kernel), but now with Mandrake 10.1
apparently that kernel has rivafb frame buffering drivers turned on for
nvidia cards-- which interferes with installing the prop. nvidia drivers.
So I am attempting a new (2.6.11) kernel compile and install today, the only
config option I am changing in the kernel options is turning off the rivafb
for nvidia option.
