Yes, I doubt you. Basic is not an operating system; it is not even a
programming language as is BASIC, something which you might have known.

Your original complaint was "You folks that have been using Linux for a
while do not realize the learning curve involved when switching from
Windows to Linux. It is HUGE!" I gave you the Rosetta Stone to reduce the
slope of that learning curve and you rejected it.

Rather than arguing, I took the time and effort to direct you to resources
which you could use.

Then do your work instead of spamming a Linux newsgroup with pointless
recommendations for an OS which you do not know. What you really want to
use is Windows. Why are you even bothering with Linux?

Sonny? I learned FORTRAN II and BASIC in 1966 and had you paid any
attention I also told you that I migrated to MS-DOS from CP/M.

As for your violent threats.....

Hostility??? I made an attempt to direct you to the resources which would
enable you.

What you wrote originally was quoted above. Your other comments about
exploding heads and "serious GUI" were meaningless. BTW you still have
not told us what "housekeeping" is. If you were to clarify what you want
done you would probably get the information you want.

You don't need me to make you look foolish.

And now I will invoke Godwin's Law for that comment about "Linux nazis".
