I am currently trying to remaster knoppix 3.9 for use as a simple,
userfriendly document recovery platform. I'm a helpdesk employee at a
university, that has a lot of korean students.
When I mount the ntfs partition of a korean student that has Korean
files and directories, they are simply not visable (eg. in a directory
named "korean" on a ntfs partition, it says there are no files in the
directory.
This does not occur when I use "ncpmount" to mount a directory that has
Korean files and directories, and I am able to copy these files to the
desktop.
I'm wondering if this is a known bug, and if so, if there is a way to
at least display these files.
The only other source I've found for this was this:
<http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19141> but that was no
help. Any ideas?
