Greetings all,,,

I need some advice at ground level regarding setting up a Linux
operating system.
I have partition magic on tap.

My question is regarding the grass roots of offering Linux a partition
and the File System that it requires.
I see via Part/Magic that it allows an option of Ex/2 & Ex/3 which
is apparently linux orientated........ How will I know which one
to choose? (or, do I even choose one at this stage?).

When I put linux on it will be mandrake version 10, although I can
choose between it and Fedora.
Should I just make the partition as a logical then just stick the
mandrake disks in and let it sort things out itself?

thanks for replies
