[OT] Sometimes I worry about linux -- please note Followup.

I worry if the dev folks at KDE, or the others of differing software devs I
enjoy using, will fall to the wayside even though I send them donations - I
can NEVER truly repay them!. I am concerned to the point of thinking about
their well being when awake during the wee hours as my gratitude is huge
- they made it possible for us (I, my family and you) to escape from the
clutches of that lousy OS by MS. We all need to make a living, but
historically about 1 in 10 make a financial contribution. I don't know
about your work, but I need 1 in 1 to pay that I may care for my loved
ones. Anyone know of the state of these dev people?
