go buy a copy of suse. unix is a large, and unfortunately unorganized group
of not necicarly interdependent programs that is usually left up to the
user to make work. being not more that a usefull, but large, toolback of
utilities and such, suse does a good job at connecting up things to make a
useable system out of it. not to say it's allway's right, there is always
around a thousand way's of doing things in unix, but suse picks one and
tries to make it easy. until you learn enough to muck with it, it'll run
fine
