Background:
After attempting to download and install a number of CNR programs
from Linspire, I found that I could only well get the odd one or two to
install and run properly and I thought that it might have been a
compatibility
issue with the Radeon Video card I have ... which by the by, Linspire has
on its site as being compatible with V5.
Now I sent them an email after downloading Win4Lin Home that I thought I
had solved all the problems with the software that didn't work after I paid
for the CNR stuff and a couple of CNB {click and buy} programs that didn't
work. Seems I was wrong and the card wasn't the problem because I downloaded
a few programs from the CNR thing and none of them worked ... without the
card
being in the machine.
After demanding refunds and getting them for non working software, I find
that I
can't get into the Linspire site or into CNR after they have taken 49.95
out of my mastercard account.
Question:
As I need to find out if Linspire has blocked me from their site and from
their support center via emails, could someone look up the Linspire site
and get a few email addresses I could try to contact someone from Linspire
to
find out what the hell is going on?
I really do like Linux and I hope one day to get a distro that is as easy
to set up the cable internet account as you can on Linspire but really, its
getting a bit of a trial.
Much appreciated in anticipation ...
John
