I need to take screen captures at a faster rate than I am currently
able to. I am running RedHat 9.0, and the screen I am capturing is a
ATC screen running at a resolution of 2024x2024. The goal is to take 1
screen shot per second, for 30 consecutive seconds. However, after
timing the operation, a single screen shot takes roughly 1.7 seconds
(in the GIF format). Are the any command line switches or utilities
that could speed up this process and help me reach my goal of 1 second?
Any optimizations? Thanks.
AJ
