GRUB Problem ?

Seems that I have a second grub problem, in addition to the one in my
yard.

I keep losing Windows XP from boot list. The bootlist looks like that:

Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.12.9-686
Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.12.9-686 (recovery mode)
Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.12.8-686
Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.12.8-686 (recovery mode)
Ubuntu, memtest86+
Windows XP (default)

Well, Windows XP just keeps disappearing from the list. I think it
happens after I run the updates. I already had to manually add it three
times in the last week.

Any idea what it is that's causing this, and how to fix it ?
