I have a 2.6.13 kernel from kernel.org I need to add supermount to it so
I downloaded the supermount-2.0.4-2.6.3.patch.gz and the md5 sum file, the
file md5 checks fine. Then i gunziped it to supermount-2.0.4-2.6.3.patch
Then, in my linux-2.6.13 directory i ran this:
patch -p1 -n < ../supermount-2.0.4-2.6.3.patch
patch: **** Only garbage was found in the patch input.
What am i doing wrong? All i ever get is that garbage message. I visually
examined the patch file and it seems like a valid patch to me (but I have
only cursory knowledge of patch files)
Sourceforge shows:
supermount for kernel 2.6
Release Notes 2.0.4 2004-01-18 13:00

Download supermount-2.0.4-2.6.3.patch.gz.md5 66 263 Platform-Independent Other
Project Totals: 1 6 124120 14945
Am i right in thinking i only need the 2.0.4-2.6.3 patch?
Thanks
Eric
