If you drop the "Hopefully doesnt need a seperate partition.", you can pick
any Linux distro that has a graphical interface (mostly all except for
embedded and servers).
If you want "linux" expansion for your microsoft installation, then I would
suggest you to use cygwin, visit their homepage at www.cygwin.com
