Hi to all,
I installed debian linux on my server to serve our website. however I
have
problem setting up our mail server. I have tried everything I can for a
month just to solve my problem but did not came up to a good result. If
there would be anyone willing to help me I would be very glad.
My current system runs apache, mysql and php. I have sendmail installed
and
squirrelmail to read the imap server. I'm using courier-imap. I can now
logon using my account name to squirrelmail but I can't send/receive
email.
In squirrelmail there is an option to use SMTP or Sendmail. If I use
sendmail to send email it doesn't give any error but the email doesn't
arrive to the destination. If I use SMTP this is the error I received:
Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable

I would like to know how to solve this problem. One thing that bothers
me
also is my conection to the internet. We are using modem/router
(speedtouch)
and I just configure the modem/router to redirect it to my local
machine

I
just don't know if there is something to configure in our mail server

pass through our modem/router.
Thanks in advance for any help.
