Hi All,
Ubuntu send me a cd and I have finally gotten it installed. I have one
problem. I can log in as it asked me for a user name and password for
myself. My problem is that it never asked me for an Administrators password.
I think I need an administrator profile to do any changes.

Ubuntu, for "security reasons" comes with no password on the root account.
You should use 'sudo' for admin chores, i.e. "sudo
whatevercommandyouwanttorun" - it will then ask for your password as
verification that you are you. I have used sudo for admin stuff on Unix
and Linx for over 15 years, and highly recommend it. You can give users
access to exactly the commands you want them to be able to run as root.
When you run graphical admin tools from the start menu, it will again ask
for your password. If you find this too constraining and you absolutely
MUST have root access, do 'sudo passwd' and set the root password.
