Hi,
Being VERY new to the Linux life (and enjoying it so far) I have
installed Fedora4 on one machine that I was running Windoz xp on - it is a
format and start from new install no M$ on that one. It is a spare unit
to play with before going 100%.
I am not understanding how to 'network' the two computers, have found
several 'fixes' but can not understand the lingo yet.
the Win is XP home that is networking now with others... using the DSL
router as the hub??
Is there a step x step for stupid like me to do the above?
I can see the windows network icon on the Linux machine,,,,, now what??
The internet sign on and operation went like clockwork, DSL modem and
sound and video cards working like new instillation was quicker and neater
then M$ EVER was !!
liking what I see, need some advice.
thanks in advance, john b
