Can anyone recommend a serialport sniffer/monitor for linux? Need to
know what data is sent/received and it's settings (baud, parity, bits
etc).

I've always preferred to just to wire the port to another computer's 2
serial ports for watching data.

Of course, if you don't know the baud rate that wouldn't work
