Fedora 5 - Apache2.2

I've installed Fedora 5 with the default Apache2 server and now I want to
update to Apache2.2. but it's not working for me. The instructions say to
run ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2, make, and make install.
Unfortunately when I do this the files do not show up in /usr/local/apache2.

Any ideas?
