Re: Which Linux for just a web server?

Dear Google Groups Weiner poster,
Unless you get past your likely prejudices, you'll probably be offended by
my remarks and ignore useful given information. If you read on and
implement what is provided, you'll benefit. I doubt you will because you
can't help it - Winders users aren't permitted to think and therefore don't
enjoy it. They MUST only OBEY WINDERS and buy, install, re-load, defrag,
reboot, load, reboot, load, reboot, defrag, fight viruses, reboot, load,
fight adware, reboot, worry, crash, ctrl+alt+del BSOD, re-load Winders, buy
more useless stuff, reboot, obey upgrade treadmill, deal with BSOD, reboot,
update virus scanner, chase Trojan, reboot, press reset for BSOD, buy more
crap to fight junk, go thru' BSOD data loss, reboot, fight virus, syndrome.

You will likely find a search on Google beneficial. That is where you should
be looking first. Also, because you can't think beyond your Winders
experience of having your hand held, I recommend a complete reading at
www.distrowatch.com - which is very useful.

NONE-THE-LESS ...

.... since you are more tuned to the Winders way of brainlessness, you may
not be aware that *any* Linux version will do as desired - in the most
strict sense. Gentoo and Slackware are, IMO, good candidates. You will have
to use your wonderful brain and read.
