Is there a way to tell if an application is 32-bit or 64-bit?
If I do (for example) "file /usr/bin/pan" I get this result:
/usr/bin/pan: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV),
for GNU/Linux 2.4.1, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
I'm assuming a 64 bit app would show as 64-bit executable.
