I'm sorry, I misrepresented my question. What I meant is, where can I
purchase Linux at reasonable price on cd, preferably from a reputable
merchant.

Buy a pre-loaded disk, get a free disk from ubuntu, get a linux
magazine with a cover disk, get a linux book from a public library with
an installable vesion on disk, if someone hasn't stolen it.
