My "one more question" is this: how easy is it to learn Linux these days?

In the bad old days, Linux overwhelmed me, and I dashed back to the comfort
(and bloat and expense) of Windows. For example, none of my half dozen Linux
live distros could connect to the Internet.

Been there, done that. Now I love Linux. Linux has come a long way in the
past say 5 years, will become even better in the coming years.
