Hi everyone,
I've been terying to get araeus working on my suse 10(64bit) box.
But I keep getting a java error.
In command console type "java" if nothing comes, type "whereis java".
If you have java, it will display the location of java, otherwise just
the name.
So I was wondering if I have the right java packages installed
and if I haven't where can I find what I need.
I am using Blackdown Java http://www.blackdown.org/ it works very nice
with stated application.
If you want Sun Java, try this site
http://www.java.com:80/en/download/manual.jsp
I know that suse doesn't ship with mp3 functionality, does this
apply to java as well.
According to Novell, this is not the case. They do ship Sun' based java
with their distro. You may not have installed it.
http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/11226.html
"The SUSE distributions all include one of the Sun Java Runtime
Environments (JRE) as part of a default installation, with SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server additionally installing the IBM Java SDK. As
expected, each distribution also complements these defaults with
further development kits and Java tools as part of the available
software."
