Should be OK.........

Support for the Promise SX4 series in the 2.6.17 kernel;

#
# Automatically generated make config: don't edit # Linux kernel
version: 2.6.17.10

CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SX4=m

No kidding?

So, I'm assuming I have to compile a custom kernel? I haven't done that
since RH9... is there a good how-to somewhere for installing the source
and making the new kernel?
